These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and participation in activities organized by Qatar International Tours (QIT) (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By confirming a booking or participating in any activity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Conditions

Qatar International Tours (QIT) provides tours, desert safaris, dhow cruises, water activities, transportation services, event experiences, and related tourism services (“Activities”).

Activities may be:

• Operated directly by QIT
• Operated by third-party suppliers on our behalf

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, schedules, vehicles, vessels, camps, guides, or services when necessary for operational, safety, or quality reasons.

Participation is subject to availability and compliance with these Terms.

2. Booking and Payment

• A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full or partial payment as agreed.
• The remaining balance must be paid on the same day of the Activity or on the date specified by QIT.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice until booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the Activity start time are non-refundable.
• Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the specified departure time is considered a cancellation.
• No-shows are non-refundable.
• Refund processing timelines may vary depending on the payment method.

Special events, peak seasons, and private bookings may have separate cancellation policies.

3. Changes or Cancellations by QIT

We reserve the right to cancel, alter, postpone, or omit any part of an Activity at our discretion, with or without notice.

Changes may occur due to:

• Weather conditions
• Government restrictions
• Safety concerns
• Mechanical issues
• Accidents or illness
• Force majeure events

In such cases, refunds or partial refunds may be provided at our discretion or according to supplier policy.

QIT shall not be liable for indirect losses, travel expenses, hotel bookings, flights, or other related costs resulting from such changes.

4. Participant Responsibility

By participating, you acknowledge that certain Activities (such as dune bashing, water sports, jet skiing, and safari tours) involve inherent risks.

You agree that:

• You are physically and mentally fit to participate.
• You will follow all safety instructions given by our staff, guides, or leaders (“Leader”).
• You will wear safety equipment when required.
• You accept full responsibility for your personal belongings.

If the Leader determines that your behavior, health condition, or actions pose a risk to yourself or others, you may be denied participation without refund.

Guests with medical conditions (including pregnancy, back problems, or heart conditions) participate strictly at their own risk.

5. Third-Party Activities

For activities provided by third-party operators where QIT issues vouchers:

• QIT acts solely as an agent.
• The operator’s terms and conditions apply.
• Refunds are subject to the operator’s policies.

We are not responsible for:

• Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers
• Negligence of operators or organizers
• Injuries, damages, delays, or losses arising during third-party services

6. Specific Activity Terms

A. Off-Road / Desert Safari Activities

By participating in off-road or dune activities:

• You release QIT from liability for injuries resulting from inherent risks.
• Seat belts must be worn at all times.
• Smoking inside vehicles is prohibited.
• Each 4×4 vehicle accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers and 1 driver.
• Children must be supervised by parents or guardians.
• Car seats for children are the guest’s responsibility.
• Personal belongings should be secured; QIT is not liable for lost or broken items.
• Swimming is permitted only in designated camp areas.

Guests must inform drivers of medical conditions before the tour begins.

B. Water Activities & Dhow Cruises

Guests must:

• Respect Qatar Coast Guard regulations.
• Follow crew safety instructions at all times.
• Avoid excessive jet ski speeds (activities are recreational, not competitive).
• Wear life jackets when recommended.
• Avoid jumping from upper decks.
• Refrain from fighting or disruptive behavior.
• Avoid throwing garbage into the sea.
• Respect Qatari law and cultural norms.

Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited unless explicitly permitted under licensed conditions in accordance with Qatari law.

Damages caused to boats or equipment by guests will be charged accordingly.

Parents are fully responsible for their children during water activities.

C. Fishing Trips

• All passengers must carry valid Qatar ID or passport.
• Safety instructions must be strictly followed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• QIT shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific Activity booked.
• Participation in adventure-based activities is at the participant’s own risk.

8. Code of Conduct

Guests must:

• Respect local laws and Islamic cultural values.
• Avoid disruptive or unsafe behavior.
• Avoid loud music where prohibited.
• Maintain proper attire suitable for public environments.

Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.

9. Insurance

Guests are responsible for obtaining their own travel and medical insurance covering adventure activities.

QIT does not provide personal insurance coverage unless explicitly stated.

10. Amendments

QIT reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Qatari courts.
